Joseph L. Long, P.E. holds a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Entrepreneurship from the Georgia Institute of Technology College of Management.

Joe also holds an M.B.A. from the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, has completed all of the coursework toward a Ph.D. (ABD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation. Joe obtained his law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law.

Joe also has significant research and work experience, including work with the Georgia Tech Research Institute and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Joe is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
